| Since 19 June 2014, Felipe VI of the House of Bourbon-Anjou has been King of Spain, succeeding his father Juan Carlos I, who abdicated. The coin shows a double portrait of the reigning king in the foreground and his predecessor in the background, slightly modified compared to the image in the Official Gazette. |
