The design shows the facade of the Louvre on the east side, mixed with the iconic plan of the Museum's maze of extraordinary rooms. In the background, the pyramidion and the structure of the great pyramid illustrate the traditional and contemporary character of the Louvre. The year of issuance “”2025” and the indication of the country “RF”, as well as the mintmarks are inserted on the museum’s plan. The coin’s outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the European flag. |
