he design bears a depiction of the coat of arms of the country's historical and cultural region Sēlija. At the top is inscribed the name of the country of issuance ‘LATVIJA’. At the bottom is the inscription ‘SĒLIJA’ and at the right is the year of issuance ‘2025’. The coin's national side has been designed by Latvian artist Laimonis Šēnbergs. The coin’s outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the European flag. |
