To raise awareness about the importance of protecting wildlife and the environment, the design of the coin shows a close-up of a bearded vulture (Gypaetus barbatos), a bird species threatened with extinction, with the inscription “ANDORRA” and the year of issue “2025”. The coin’s outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the European flag.
